I can take any empty space and call it a bare stage. A man walks across this empty space whilst someone else is watching him, and this is all that is needed for an act of theatre to be engaged -Peter Brook "The Empty Space" 1968

I am always amazed and excited to see a show built from the stage floor on up to completion. The satisfaction I feel from the completion of a project is not something I can really put into words. I have an intrinsic desire to create. Working in theatre gives me the opportunity to create a wide range of objects and buildings. I have a passion for acquiring new skills and I am a sponge for knowledge when I am prompted to research on a subject. My goal for any show I work on is to create a product that serves the need of the show, the functionality and comfort the actors handling it requires, and to exceed the expectations of quality expected from my fellow collaborators.
